The small size and great maneuverability of our ships enable us to navigate in secluded waters that have
remained largely immune to the encroachments of development and tourism.
With shallow drafts, our ships are able to cruise into narrow fjords and shallow coves,
a luxury not available to passengers on conventional cruise ships.
Our captains maintain flexible schedules to allow for spontaneous
discoveries and encounters. Our fleets of Zodiacs and landing craft can easily be
deployed at a moment’s notice from our ships. These sturdy inflatables permit us
to extend our explorations — to land on deserted beaches or cruise through
extremely shallow and secluded waterways. Piloted by our experienced drivers,
they offer a convenient and safe way to explore remote wilderness areas where shoreside facilities do not exist.

Clipper has established an ongoing relationship with some of the
most prestigious culinary institutes in America, the source of our
outstanding chefs. Using the freshest ingredients possible, they
prepare each meal from scratch, just as one would expect in a small
gourmet restaurant ashore. We feature healthy American and regionally
influenced cuisine and offer a variety of choices at each meal,
including “light” selections and half portions. Every dish is
individually cooked to order. And our passengers enjoy single leisurely
open seatings, which provide opportunities to make new friends and
linger over that last sip of wine or bite of dessert without anyone
rushing you out the door.
